Foundation and Vallee Visiting Professors In
September, 1996, Drs. Bert L. and Natalie K. Vallee organized and endowed the Bert L.
and N. Kuggie Vallee Foundation, Inc., a private foundation established to foster
scientific exchange and communication. Since
its inception, the Foundation has supported Visiting Professorships, each for
approximately one month¡¯s duration at the Center or elsewhere as follows: Professor
Earl Davie, University of Washington, Seattle (Karolinska Institute) Professor
Gordon Hammes, Duke University (CBBSM) Professor
Klaus Rajewsky, University of Cologne (Department of Pathology, HMS) Professor
Stephen Sligar, University of Illinois (University of Oxford) Future
Vallee Visiting Professorships outside the Center have been planned for 2000. |
